Manchester United 1986/88 Robson #7 Home Kit

Captain Marvel in the number 7.
A classic adidas United shirt from the beginning of the Ferguson era.
Old Trafford football exactly as it looked in the late 1980s.

The Manchester United 1986/88 home kit brings back the unmistakable red of Bryan Robson’s captaincy years, finished with classic adidas detailing, the famous Sharp sponsor and Robson’s number 7 on the back. Importantly, there is no player name above the number — exactly as shirts were worn during this era. Names were not yet standard on English league shirts, so players were identified solely by their squad number; Premier League names and standardised lettering would only arrive years later. For Robson, that simple number 7 became synonymous with the relentless, all-action midfielder known at Old Trafford as Captain Marvel.
