One of the most iconic Liverpool shirts ever created.
The legendary Candy sponsor era in full effect.
Barnes bringing flair, power and dominance to Anfield.

The 1989/91 Liverpool home shirt became a football culture icon thanks to its bold adidas geometric pattern, traditional red colourway and unforgettable Candy sponsor. Worn by John Barnes during one of Liverpool’s strongest eras, this jersey perfectly captured the style, confidence and attacking football that defined the club at the turn of the decade.

So iconic that Liverpool’s confirmed 26/27 kit design draws direct inspiration from this exact era.
